Welcome to Wisely!
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Wisely ("the App"), a networking application developed by WiselyUSA. By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms By creating an account, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. Eligibility You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into these Terms and to abide by all of the terms and conditions set forth herein.
3. Account Registration To use certain features of the App, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
4. Use of the App
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You agree that you are not a headhunter, or a person in HR hiring for your firm. Wisely is NOT a platform for headhunters.
You agree that you are not a bot, spammer, self-promotor, or impersonator. If found, we will immediately terminate your account and revoke your ability to ever create another account on Wisely.
In summary, you agree not to use the App to:
Post any content that is illegal, offensive, defamatory, or otherwise harmful.
Harass, abuse, or harm another person.
Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
Hire on behalf of company or firm you are representing as
Engage in any activity that could disrupt, damage, or impair the functioning of the App.
5. Professional Conduct
You agree to use the App in a professional manner and to engage respectfully with other users.
You agree not to spam, solicit, or promote products or services to other users.
It is strictly forbidden to use Wisely to make inappropriate advances on other users. We are not a dating app. Any reported instances will result in immediate termination of your account.
6. Content and Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the content you post on the App. By posting content, you grant Wisely a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display your content in connection with the App.
All other content and materials available on the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of Wisely or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
8. Termination Wisely reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at any time, for any reason, without notice. Upon termination, all licenses and rights granted to you in these Terms will immediately cease.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Wisely makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App's operation or availability.
Wisely shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the App.
10. Governing Law These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
11. Changes to Terms Wisely reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Terms on the App. Your continued use of the App following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
